Custom gift boxes
A gift box combines presentation with protection. Custom boxes suit corporate gifts, employee welcome packs and campaign sets. Start with the items inside: usable internal dimensions matter more than the outside appearance alone.
Choosing gift-box dimensions and construction
Measure the gift in its own packaging and allow room for protective filling where needed. Compare closure, strength, and assembly. For postal delivery, plan an outer shipping box as well; a presentation box may not provide enough protection on its own.
An insert or suitable filling keeps the gift correctly positioned when opened, especially with differently shaped products. For large quantities, allow time for assembly and storage space. A bespoke-packaging sample helps verify capacity, closure, and which artwork ends up on the front of the completed box.
Standard-size box or bespoke packaging?
A standard gift box can work well when the items fit naturally and only a logo or printed sleeve is needed. Consider a bespoke option when exact dimensions, product positioning, or a particular opening style matter. Quantity and the required completion date also influence the choice.
Internal dimensions need to accommodate the widest point of each product, its height, and protective material. A mug’s handle, a bottle’s cap, and the spaces between several items all count. The lid should close without forcing the contents down.
- Record item dimensions including their own packaging.
- Plan the arrangement and protective filling.
- Allow space for closures and lid movement.
- Consider the final weight and delivery method.
If future sets may contain different products, a flexible box format can be useful. An insert made for one exact item may need changing after even a small size difference. Keep the dimensions, material specification, and approved artwork for repeat orders.
Gift-box printing and artwork
Depending on the box, branding may use printing, a label or a designed sleeve. For bespoke boxes, use the manufacturer’s dieline and allow for folds.
Distinguish the outer panels, inside lid, and base in the artwork. Wording that looks correct on a flat template can get hidden or face the wrong direction after folding. Keep important details clear of folds and cut edges, and cut to the manufacturer’s template. Print, foil, label, and sleeve options depend on the box.

Gift boxes to compare
For a bespoke option, explore the Creabox gift box. The Peleman gift box offers a magnetic closure and, according to its product information, a lid that can be decorated with silver or gold foil. Choose based on the contents and presentation required. A gift-box listing does not automatically include the gifts or filling material.
Order gift boxes with your logo
Confirm whether boxes arrive in parts or assembled, and who adds the contents and filling. Assembly time and storage space can affect the schedule for larger quantities.
Send Kingivabrik the contents’ dimensions, quantity, logo, and deadline. Include color, artwork, and shipping requirements. We can help compare suitable packaging and establish whether a separate insert or transport protection is needed.
