Branded lighters and matches
Branded lighters and matches suit adult-oriented campaigns and gifts with a clear intended use. Packaging and artwork can complement a candle gift, for example. Consider the recipient as well as transport and storage conditions when choosing a product.
Choosing a lighter or matchbox
Compare ignition type, dimensions, and refillability where supported. For matches, check the count and pack format. Don't focus only on print area: the item must be usable and its warnings readable.
In a candle set, the lighting accessory should fit the packaging and be clearly identifiable. Matchbox artwork can offer a larger graphic surface than a small lighter body. For event distribution, consider whether the setting and audience suit the product. Check quantities per pack before comparing the apparent unit price.
Lighters and matchboxes in gift sets
For a candle gift, choose an accessory that can comfortably reach the wick. A shallow holder and a deep candle jar require different handling. If the item is intended for outdoor use, mention that in the inquiry, as not every lighter suits the same conditions.
A matchbox provides a defined design surface and can carry a short message alongside the main gift. Choose its dimensions and match length for the intended use. Distinguish the number of boxes ordered from the number of matches in each box.
- Define the main purpose.
- Check ignition type and handling comfort.
- Establish refilling or charging needs where supported.
- Match dimensions to the rest of the gift set.
If gifts are going to several destinations, plan delivery alongside product selection. Fuel in a lighter and the inclusion of matches may affect available carrier services. Clarify this before confirming the complete gift, particularly for international shipments.
Branding lighters and matchboxes
A lighter body and matchbox sleeve require different artwork layouts. Keep ignition areas and mandatory manufacturer information clear of branding.
A narrow lighter body usually suits a short logo or company name. A matchbox sleeve may accommodate a longer greeting. Allow space for edges, opening direction, and the striking surface so the design doesn't interfere with use. The product’s print area and color options determine the final artwork dimensions.
For an overview of the processes, see branding methods.
Lighter models to compare
Compare the Amilo lighter, Brisbane lighter and Pesaro torch lighter. Different ignition arrangements depend on intended use, not appearance alone. Check dimensions, operation, and supplied contents on the product page, and clarify refilling where necessary. Don't assume the models serve the same tasks.
