Choosing memo pads and sticky notes

Compare sheet size, sheet count, paper color, and adhesive-strip position. Covered pads suit carrying, while loose memo cubes suit desks. Sets with several colors or formats can help organize topics for recipients who work that way.

Meeting notes need clear writing space. Place contact details at an edge or on the cover instead of interrupting the page. With larger pads, consider desk placement and how easily sheets detach. A sample sheet helps assess the paper with the writing instruments recipients will use.

Memo paper for desks and training kits

Choose paper size around the notes people make. A short telephone number needs little room; meeting actions need more. A memo cube keeps sheets together on a desk, while a covered set protects them in a bag. Consider whether recipients mostly write at a desk or while moving around.

For sticky notes, the intended surface matters. A monitor edge, paper sheet, and shelf label may require different adhesion. A sample helps assess how well a note stays in place and how it removes. Colored page flags can organize documents, but their small surface isn't meant for longer notes.

Match sheet size to the information recorded.

Confirm the sheet count per pad.

Assess the cover or base on the desk.

Try writing on a printed sample.

In an employee welcome kit, pair memo paper with a pen or other daily tool. Coordinated colors and restrained artwork help the items work together. For customer giveaways, keep company contact details visible while leaving most of the sheet available for the recipient’s notes.

Memo-paper printing and artwork

Sheet printing, cover artwork, and memo-cube side printing are separate options. Keep the writing area light, and avoid placing it on adhesive surfaces.

Decoration can appear on every sheet, the cover, or the cube sides. These options produce different results and costs. Writing should remain clear against the printed background. Larger photographs or dense patterns may work better on a cover, leaving the inner sheets quieter and easier to use.
