What should you compare?

Measure contents with accessories and compare closure, material, and carrying arrangements. Decide whether the packaging has an ongoing role or simply presents the gift. Bespoke orders require usable dimensions and opening direction.

For product-specific packaging, test insertion and removal several times. Bespoke drawings should distinguish internal and external dimensions. Handle and closure placement also affect usability. Approve all-over artwork on the assembled form because a flat dieline does not always reveal the final appearance.

Special-purpose bags that keep essentials organised

List the items that need to stay together. Electronics cases may hold cables, chargers and adapters, while car organizers may store everyday small belongings. A useful bag makes each item easy to find and put away again.

Compartment count alone does not describe convenience. A narrow pocket may fit a cable but not a larger adapter. Compare contents with pocket dimensions and opening width. For car accessories, assess attachment and positioning alongside size so the arrangement suits vehicle use.

List contents and dimensions.

Choose a suitable internal layout.

Try opening and retrieving items.

Specify carrying or attachment needs.

A specialist bag can join an employee welcome kit or complement a larger gift. A case for a technical accessory helps keep required components together. If packaging will remain in use, its artwork should also suit a standalone product. For bespoke orders, approve a sample that demonstrates actual fit and packing before producing the full quantity.

Branding and artwork

Artwork must account for folds, seams and attachment points. The largest surface may not be the one visible during use.

Assess branding in the normal use position. Open flaps or fastening straps can cover artwork. All-over designs must account for seams and folds. Panels with different textures or thicknesses may need different printing, so prepare final artwork around the selected construction.

For an overview of the processes, see branding methods.

Product examples to compare

Compare the Organizer Cool car organiser, Allthere electronics bag and Aware PVC-free electronics bag. They organize different contents rather than serving as universal substitutes. Review compartments, attachments, and materials. A PVC-free designation describes one material characteristic, not the product’s full environmental impact.

Before ordering

Use a sample or prototype to confirm usable dimensions, opening and closure. Compare prices for matching contents, materials, and decoration coverage.

Describe the contents, setting, and quantity. Include logo, artwork preferences, and deadline. Kingivabrik can help select a specialist bag or package and clarify production options.
