Custom temporary tattoos
Custom temporary tattoos bring an event logo or campaign symbol into a shared participant look. They suit festivals, supporter events, or team days where the product’s use fits the audience. Design them as an image worn on skin rather than a standard sticker.
Choosing temporary tattoo dimensions
Choose size and shape around the intended placement. A small logo, a long message, and a sheet containing several motifs need different layouts. Check whether the stated dimensions refer to the sheet or usable design area and how fine lines and small text will reproduce.
Temporary-tattoo artwork needs to remain readable on a curved, moving surface. Fine lettering may disappear at small sizes, so review it at actual scale. At events, provide instructions and consider what is needed for application. Sheets with several motifs offer choice, but each motif still requires sufficient usable space.
Temporary tattoos for festivals and supporter events
A shared temporary-tattoo design can complement participants’ clothing and the event’s visual identity. One small, clear motif serves a different purpose from a larger sheet of several images. Decide whether each person receives a set design or can choose from different motifs.
For on-site use, application needs to fit the event arrangements. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for equipment and application time. If water or another aid is required, make it available at the distribution point. Sheets taken home also need clear instructions.
- Define the audience and intended placement.
- Choose a single motif or a multi-image layout.
- Confirm sheet dimensions and usable print area.
- Supply application and removal guidance.
Wearing the tattoo should be the recipient’s choice. For children’s events, follow the manufacturer’s age guidance and conditions of use. Don't assume a fixed wear duration across the category, as it depends on the product and how it is used.
Temporary tattoo artwork and printing
Prepare artwork using the template for the selected tattoo. Account for required margins, color handling, and any white underprint the manufacturer specifies.
For artwork applied to skin, clear outlines and sufficiently large details help readability. White underprint and color reproduction depend on the production method. Follow the manufacturer's template for mirroring, margins, and motif positioning. The proof should make clear how the image will appear after application.

Temporary tattoo formats to compare
Compare the 10 × 10 cm, 5 × 10 cm and 5 × 5 cm temporary tattoos. A smaller format may suit one symbol, while a larger sheet may allow several motifs where production specifications permit. Always confirm how much of the stated sheet dimensions is available for artwork.
Order temporary tattoos with your design
Keep application and removal instructions and any relevant restrictions with the product. Temporary does not mean suitable for every skin type.
Send your logo or motif, preferred format, quantity, and event date. Include the audience and whether tattoos will be applied on-site or taken home. Kingivabrik can help confirm the layout and production requirements.
