Choosing a keyring for your customers

Compare metal designs, soft materials, and models with additional functions. A larger keyring offers more space for artwork but can make a bunch of keys bulky. An extra function, such as a bottle opener, is worthwhile when it is useful to the recipient.

A key-handover gift may need a short identifier alongside the logo, but avoid adding personal or sensitive information to keys. Automotive campaigns benefit from pocket-friendly designs, while property gifts may emphasize presentation. For multiple designs, specify quantities for each and whether they need separate packing for distribution.

Traditional keyring or electronic finder?

A simple keyring keeps keys together and helps distinguish them. Consider how easily the ring opens, the strength of connecting parts, and the finish of the edges. Office keys may benefit from a consistent color or department identifier, while a customer gift may place more emphasis on materials and presentation.

A Bluetooth finder adds an electronic function and needs a different assessment from an ordinary keyring. Check phone and app compatibility, the power source, and how the finding function operates. Not every locator uses the same network or provides the same search range.

Check the required app and supported devices.

Confirm whether the battery is replaceable or rechargeable.

Establish what happens outside Bluetooth range.

Consider the setup required from the recipient.

An electronic keyring works as a gift when the recipient can comfortably set it up and use it. For a campaign needing an immediately usable giveaway, a traditional keyring may be a better starting point.

Keyring printing and engraving

Marking depends on the surface: metal may suit engraving, while other models use printing or a custom shape. Check logo contrast at the actual size.

The front and reverse may offer different branding areas. Engraving contrast on metal depends on the finish; for a coloured logo, compare the approved printing methods. Buttons, battery compartments and essential markings must remain accessible on electronic products. Consider how the item hangs from the ring when positioning the artwork.

For an overview of the processes, see branding methods.

Bluetooth locators for finding keys

For electronic options, compare the Find Me Bluetooth locator, Finit and Mate. These accessories offer finding functions, so technical compatibility matters alongside size and logo area. Before a larger order, confirm the app, power source, and included instructions. The capabilities of one model should not be assumed for another.

A custom-shaped keyring may involve tooling or setup costs and additional production time. Review the final design at the actual product size.

Tell us the quantity, audience, deadline, and logo requirements. Specify whether you need a simple giveaway, a more substantial customer gift, or an electronic feature. Kingivabrik can help compare suitable models and their total cost with branding.
